These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Worqan and related websites, apps, and services (the “Services”) provided by Catharsis LLC (“Catharsis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, inviting teammates, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
Worqan is software for field-service and operations teams, including tools for customers, jobs, scheduling, team coordination, estimates, invoices, payments, and related features we make available over time. Features may change as we improve the product. Early-access or beta features may be incomplete or change without notice.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will try to avoid unreasonable disruption.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
Workspace admins control who can join their organization and what features teammates can access. You are responsible for your organization’s users and for the data they enter.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Services.
Paid plans, seat limits, add-ons, trials, and billing terms are described at signup, in-product, or on our pricing pages. Fees are charged through our payment processor (currently Stripe) according to the plan you select.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel according to the options available in the product or billing portal. Taxes may apply. Refunds, if any, are handled according to our stated refund practices or applicable law.
We may change pricing with reasonable notice for upcoming renewal periods. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price for that period.
You retain ownership of the business data and content you submit to the Services (“Customer Content”), including customer records, jobs, documents, and messages you send through Worqan.
You grant Catharsis a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to submit Customer Content (including personal information about your customers and staff) and to use the Services in connection with that content.
Some features allow you to send SMS/text messages to customers or staff (for example job status updates such as on the way, ETA, or arrival). If you enable or use messaging features:
We may suspend messaging features if we reasonably believe they are being used in violation of these Terms, law, or carrier requirements.

The Services may integrate with third parties such as Stripe (payments), Twilio (messaging), Supabase, Vercel, email providers, and maps or analytics tools. Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policies, or acts.
Worqan, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Catharsis LLC and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during your subscription according to these Terms.
Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect that information and use it only as needed to perform under these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CATHARSIS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CATHARSIS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO CATHARSIS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Catharsis and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Services, your messaging practices, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You may stop using the Services at any time and cancel according to your plan’s billing options. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law or carriers.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services ends. We may delete Customer Content after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy and legal retention requirements. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. Courts located in Cook County, Illinois will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where prohibited.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Catharsis regarding the Services and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
