Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026·Last updated: August 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Catharsis LLC (“Catharsis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with Worqan and related websites, apps, and services (the “Services”). Worqan is a product of Catharsis LLC.

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

Legal entity: Catharsis LLC
Product: Worqan (and related Catharsis-operated sites and tools)
Contact: team@worqan.com

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile details (name, email, phone number, credentials)
  • Business information (company name, address, role/title, and compliance details such as tax identifiers when required for messaging registration)
  • Customer and operational data you enter into Worqan (for example end-customer names, phones, emails, job details, notes, documents)
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe; we typically do not store full card numbers)
  • Support messages, feedback, and other communications
  • Consent records and communication preferences

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location from IP, referring URLs)
  • Log, diagnostic, and performance data
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below)

Information from third parties

  • Authentication providers you choose to connect
  • Payment processors and fraud-prevention partners
  • Communications providers (for example email or SMS delivery status)

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Create and manage accounts, workspaces, and permissions
  • Process transactions and send invoices or receipts
  • Provide customer support
  • Send service-related notices (security alerts, account updates, billing)
  • Send SMS/text messages you or your organization have consented to (see SMS below)
  • Analyze usage to improve reliability and product quality
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights and safety
  • With consent where required, send product updates or marketing communications

We do not sell your personal information. Customer, job, and payment details you enter belong to your organization. Payment processing is handled by Stripe when you connect your account.

4. SMS / text messaging

If you provide a mobile number to Worqan, or if your organization uses Worqan to message customers who have consented, we may send text messages related to the Services. Typical message types include:

  • Account, security, and verification messages
  • Job and service status updates (for example on the way, ETA, and arrival)
  • Appointment reminders and operational notifications
  • Customer-care follow-ups related to a booked or scheduled service

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of messaging from that program or number. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of SMS does not automatically cancel your Worqan account or other communications (such as email), unless required by law.

Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share mobile numbers and related message metadata with service providers who help us deliver messaging (for example Twilio or similar carriers and aggregators), solely to transmit messages, prevent spam/fraud, comply with carrier rules, and operate the messaging program — not for those providers’ own marketing.

If you are a business using Worqan to text your customers, you are responsible for obtaining any required consent from those customers before messaging them through the Services. See SMS consent for the Call-to-Action language and disclosures customers should see.

5. How we share information

We may share personal information with:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf (hosting, databases, analytics, email, SMS, payments, support tools), under contractual restrictions
  • Your organization / workspace admins if you are invited into a business account
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets

We do not share mobile opt-in data or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.

6. Website analytics and advertising

On our marketing site and app, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand traffic and performance. This helps us see which pages are visited, where visitors come from, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and how people use key buttons.

Vercel Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies for analytics, and visitors are identified with a hash that resets daily rather than a lasting profile that tracks you across sites. We do not intentionally send personal information (such as your name or email) in analytics events.

Aggregated performance metrics (such as page load timing) may also be collected via Vercel Speed Insights.

When we run Google Ads, we may load a Google tag (gtag.js) to measure ad performance and conversions. Google may process data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand product usage, and improve security and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

8. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, accounting, and security requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to lawful backup and archival limits.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use a strong unique password and protect your account credentials.

10. Children’s privacy

Worqan is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; request portability of certain data; withdraw consent where processing is consent-based; opt out of marketing emails; and opt out of SMS by replying STOP.

To exercise rights, email team@worqan.com. If you use Worqan through an employer or customer organization, some requests may need to go through that organization’s admin.

12. U.S. state privacy notices

Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have additional rights regarding personal information, including rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly defined, and we do not share mobile messaging consent for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

13. International users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection rules than your country.

14. Third-party links and integrations

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party sites or tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
