Businesses using Worqan may send customers operational text messages about scheduled service visits (for example on the way, ETA, and arrival). This page describes how customers consent and what they are told before messages are sent.
End users provide a mobile number when they book or request service with the business — online on the business website, or by phone with the office. Before job status texts are sent, the business collects express consent using language equivalent to the example below (unchecked by default on web forms; read aloud and confirmed when booking by phone).
Reviewers: this is the consent control customers see (or an equivalent verbal script) when sharing a mobile number for appointment updates.
“If you’d like, we can text you job updates — on the way, ETA, and when we arrive. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help anytime. Our Privacy Policy and Terms are at worqan.com/privacy and worqan.com/terms. Do I have your consent to text this number?”
