HVAC texting
HVAC texting software that doesn’t live in a tech’s personal phone.
Homeowners read texts. They ignore unknown calls. On-the-way, ETA, and “we’re at the side gate” should come from a shop number—and the reply should still be on the job tomorrow when a different tech goes back.

Why HVAC shops still text from personal phones
Because the FSM made messaging a higher-tier add-on, or because “just text them you’re on the way” was faster than opening the app. Then Alex quits and the homeowner’s last thread dies on a personal SIM.
Personal numbers vanish when someone quits
If the on-the-way text came from Alex’s cell, the homeowner’s “capacitor is the old one” reply dies when Alex leaves. Shop-number texts stay with the company.
The office can’t see the thread
Gate codes and “dog in the backyard” shouldn’t live only on the truck. When the conversation is on the job, dispatch isn’t guessing.
A2P isn’t optional anymore
Carriers expect a registered business campaign for this kind of SMS. Worqan walks the shop through 10DLC so you’re not blasting from a random app that gets filtered.
What Worqan texts are for (and what they aren’t)
Job-status SMS: on the way, ETA, we’re in the driveway, appointment updates. Not a second iMessage. Not a blast tool for filter-change coupons unless you’ve consented people for that. Replies stay on the job when Worqan can match the number; unmatched threads land in Texts—an exception queue for the office.
Available on Growth and Business after 10DLC registration. This page is the HVAC SEO / education URL. The product walkthrough lives on customer texting when that feature is listed in the product nav—same capability, different intent.
Scheduling still has to work or the text is a lie. See HVAC scheduling software and the HVAC software hub. Consent language: SMS consent.

FAQ
- Can HVAC companies text customers?
- Yes—with consent. Tell people they may get job-status texts (on the way, ETA, arrival), that rates may apply, and that they can reply STOP. Worqan’s booking flow includes an unchecked consent box; phone bookings should use an equivalent script.
- How do I stop technicians using personal numbers?
- Give them a shop number inside the job workflow. If Field Ops on-the-way/ETA sends from Worqan when two-way is live, techs aren’t jumping to the phone’s Messages app. Personal SMS is the backup only before the number is ready.
- Is this two-way SMS or just reminders?
- Two-way. Outbound job texts and customer replies stay on the job when Worqan can match the number. Unknown or unmatched threads land in Texts—an exception queue, not another chat app.
- Doesn’t Jobber already text?
- Many FSMs do, often on higher plans. The question is whether texts are on the job your whole shop can see, from a number you own, without paying up a tier just to stop using personal phones. That’s the Worqan angle.
